What each scheme certifies
Green Gold Label — Chain of custody
and processing standard for biomass
traded into energy markets.
ISCC EU — Compliance with the
sustainability criteria of the EU
Renewable Energy Directive.
SBP — Sustainable Biomass Program.
Certifies woody biomass produced for
energy, including material from non
-certified sources where it is covered by a
documented Supply Base Evaluation.
PEFC — Programme for the Endorsement
of Forest Certification. Chain of custody
from certified forest to finished product.
Suppliers and traceability
Before a supplier is approved
We carry out an evaluation appropriate to the type of raw material and the applicable certification requirements. It covers legality, traceability, sustainability, quality and supply capability. For rubberwood this includes land title verification and direct engagement with the landowner.
After a supplier is approved
Approved suppliers are subject to ongoing performance monitoring. Each feedstock stream follows its own documented chain of custody, and all procurement activity is traceable and verified against SBP Standard 1 on feedstock compliance.
